Once you logged in to www.virtualsmarthome.xyz/url_routine_trigger and activated the URL Routine Trigger Alexa skill, you are ready to create the first URL Routine Triggers.

Step-by-step guide

Please follow this single step to create your URL Routine Triggers:

1. Provide a name for your trigger. This name will be used for the smart home device that will be added to your Alexa account. The type of the device will be a doorbell.

That’s everything you need to do to define a new trigger.

Every time you open one of the URLs provided for your trigger, the trigger will be activated, i.e., the doorbell device in Alexa will be pressed. You can use the pressed state of the doorbell for triggering Alexa routines.
